A Moroccan dream wedding with a champagne tower and cocktails
I'll take you on a journey through an evening/night as a bartender at Bar Company. No event is the same, and on Friday, March 2nd, another special celebration was planned: a Moroccan wedding. We provided a champagne tower and a cocktail bar.
The party location
The wedding was held at Het Paleis in Schiedam. This venue is known for its fantastic possibilities for hosting special weddings. For this reason, Het Paleis is already fully booked for the entirety of 2018. Several Rolls-Royce Phantoms were on display in the venue's parking lot that evening.
Champagne Tower
The bride and groom have our biggest champagne tower rented including some handsome ones champagne ladiesIn addition, the bridal couple rented two mobile cocktail bars and five experienced cocktail shakersAfter more than five years of service, I was still surprised by the venue, the atmosphere, and the size of the wedding. Over 450 guests enjoyed a four-course dinner. Each table had its own butler, meaning nearly 150 staff members were on hand to provide the guests with everything they needed. We were tasked with ensuring that over 450 glasses of champagne were ready by 10:30 PM. The bride and groom wanted to toast with all the guests. No sooner said than done, and at 10:30 PM, 50 waitstaff members filled the room with flutes and toasted with everyone present.
The wedding party
Afterward, the festivities really got underway with performances by several well-known Moroccan artists. There were fireworks, dancers, and of course, the wedding dance, where the classic lift from "Time of My Life" was flawlessly executed:
Cocktail bar with cocktail shakers
We created an extensive, customized cocktail menu especially for this party, featuring many sweet cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The Pornstar Martini was a favorite of the evening. The cocktails, as always, were a hit. It was a special party that lasted well into the night (3:00 AM), and I'm glad I was a part of it. All that was left was to take down the place and head back to Nijmegen.
