Ivo Klomp

Ivo began his career in logistics in the public events sector. After spending a few years putting up the main tent at Lowlands, he realised that the only tent he still wanted to put up was his own camping tent.  

Ivo said goodbye to the chaos of the festivals and joined the best company in the world (?).

Ivo certainly doesn’t lack ambition, as he’s always keen to develop in his role. And he’s been quite successful in this regard, because after a year working as a logistics assistant, Ivo took over from our former logistics manager in 2020. Since that day it all went downhill from thereIvo has become absolutely indispensable to BC.

Ivo has a fair amount of self-awareness, as he is able to clearly identify his strengths;

1. Every day, Ivo makes a sandwich with a new combination of fillings and therefore considers himself ‘creative’.
2. Ivo knows the difference between a screw and a nail, which is why he considers himself ‘technically minded’.
3. Ivo occasionally boils eggs at lunchtime without setting the timer and therefore considers himself ‘stress-resistant’.
4. Ivo parks the buses with their noses facing the same way and therefore considers himself ‘organised’.
