A cocktail shaker does much more than just make drinks. During your event, he or she ensures everything runs smoothly, quickly and to a consistently high standard, even at peak times. Guests receive advice on their choices, cocktails are freshly prepared and the presentation is spot on down to the last detail. At the same time, the cocktail shaker is a great entertainer who engages with guests and contributes to the atmosphere of the event.
Hiring a cocktail shaker or hiring a bartender – what’s the difference?
In practice, there is no difference. The term ‘cocktail shaker’ is often used to refer to the person behind the bar, whilst officially it refers to the tool used to shake cocktails. Our cocktail shakers are professional bartenders, also known as cocktail makers. Whichever term you use, you’ll always be served by an experienced professional behind the bar.
The cost of hiring a cocktail shaker
We keep our prices transparent and fair. When combined with a cocktail bar and cocktails, the Hourly rate: €37.50 per cocktail shaker, with a minimum of four hours. The total price depends, amongst other things, on the number of cocktails and guests. A fully organised cocktail catering service is available from €750.

We prefer to work behind our own mobile cocktail bars. These are professionally fitted out and instantly add a touch of class. If you already have a bar on site, we can use that too and will bring everything we need, from ingredients to glassware.

Hire a female cocktail shaker
Shaking cocktails is certainly not just for men. Our female cocktail mixers are just as experienced, energetic and professional. If you have a preference, we’d be happy to take that into account when planning.
Frequently Asked Questions
We’ll take care of everything so you can enjoy the party. We’ll bring everything we need with us, including all the ice and various types of glassware. However, whilst we’re mixing drinks, we won’t have time to collect the glasses. We’ll do this once we’ve finished, or perhaps one of the waiting staff could do it.
‘Saying ’no’ at your party isn’t an option, which is why we always bring along some extra ingredients and glassware. Of course, these aren’t unlimited, so it’s important to estimate the number of cocktails accurately in advance.
When we’re nearly at the agreed number of cocktails, we’ll let you know. At that point, you can decide whether to close the bar or to order a few extra cocktails. These extra cocktails cost the same per cocktail as those in the quote. We will never mix any extra cocktails without your approval or that of the ‘event manager’. This way, you’ll never be faced with any surprises afterwards.
Good question! If you allow for between 1 and 3 cocktails per guest, you’ll be fine.
You’ll find that your guests are happy to skip a beer or a glass of wine when there’s a cocktail bar on offer. After all, you don’t drink cocktails every day. They’re now ‘up for grabs’, whereas in town you’d pay at least €10 each for them. We’ve also thought of guests who’ve driven here, as we always mix a few non-alcoholic cocktails.
We’ll be mixing at least 5 popular cocktails and 2 non-alcoholic cocktails at your party. Over the past 10 years, we’ve shaken just about every cocktail imaginable.
This means we know exactly which cocktails are popular at parties. We’ve put together a wonderful menu featuring these cocktails. The menu changes with the seasons, so you’ll be served truly summery cocktails in the summer. Do you have a favourite cocktail? Let us know, and we’ll add it to your menu.
Most cocktail bars measure 0.87 m by 1.65 m and fit easily through a standard doorway. Would you like a larger bar? No problem – our bars can be joined together to form one large setup. Not sure whether the bar will fit through a door, into a lift or round a corner? Just let us know when you book. We’ll work with you to find the bar that fits your venue perfectly. Do you have a space of 2.5 m wide by 2 m deep available for each bar? Then you’re all set!
Not at all. Our 90% customers don’t have a preference for any particular bar unit. It just needs to look good, and you can always count on that with Bar Company. After looking at our photos, do you have a preference for a mobile cocktail bar? If so, please let us know, and we’ll take this into account.
The cost of hiring a cocktail bar depends on a number of factors. These include the number of cocktails and the number of hours we are allowed to be there. As a general guide, you can use the following figures.

Absolutely. We work with a lot of businesses, so we know just how important ‘branding’ is. If you send us your logo, we’ll include it on the menus free of charge. We can also give the cocktails corporate names. Think of the ‘your company’ Mojito. Every party is held for a reason, and we’re happy to help you communicate that.
It’s great that you’re interested in this! Back in 2015, we decided we wanted to operate in a socially responsible way. We’ve been busy ever since. We’ve reduced our energy consumption by 60% and meet a large part of our own energy needs with a roof full of solar panels and a charging point. We’ve also completely stopped using plastic straws and cups. Finally, we use sustainable ingredients as much as possible and have developed our own sustainable coffee blend. So you could say that we’re a sustainable caterer are.
Your party It has to be a resounding success, and for that to happen, everything has to fall into place at just the right moment. After all, there’s no second chance to get it right.
