2015
On 18 February 2015, Bar Company purchased the property at Roggeweg 26 in Nijmegen and moved in. ‘’Chill, we can park our buses inside, then’ That was the motto. A misconception of the highest order, as it turned out not long afterwards. For just as quickly as our baristas make coffees, so too were the metres taken over by packed shelves. And just as quickly as our cocktail shakers filled their glasses, so the office chairs were taken by our nicest colleagues.
2019
Today, Bar Company has signed another deal. This time, it’s to purchase the premises belonging to its immediate neighbours. Buying this identical property will allow us to continue growing without any worries. After all, as the saying goes, you can only buy your neighbours once.
2020
We will be letting out the new premises for a few more months before we move in in 2020. At that point, the warehouse will therefore be handed over to us completely empty.
And anyone who looks us up in the Chamber of Commerce will see that Bar Company is celebrating its 10th anniversary next year…
