A bit strange: Attends 300 festivals in a single summer
At her ‘palace’ – better known as Bar Company – Sherine Thijssen is responsible for all matters relating to human resources. She decides which top staff members are scheduled for which shifts. It’s a role with a great deal of responsibility, where flexibility is essential. Sherine is in constant contact with our baristas and cocktail shakers and manages dozens of diaries that way. Pretty cool, isn’t it? Even so, Sherry is always afraid of the dark.
Sherine has been working at BC since 2014. After clocking up countless hours behind the bar, it was time for a change, so she joined KPN as a manager. But she couldn’t stay away for long, and she soon made a comeback at Bar Company as the first female colleague in the office.
In fact, you could say that Sherine is the mum of the company. A strong and caring mum that everyone would love to have.
