Sam Geusens

If you work professionally in our wonderful events industry, there’s a good chance you’ve been in touch with Sam at some point. Sam was our sales manager for many years and is now Operations Manager at Bar Company. He leads the team with passion and has an aversion to the phrase ‘it can’t be done’. He therefore sees it as his mission to make every event or party wish come true. Together with his colleagues, Sam ensures that everything runs like clockwork.

Bar Company is currently the proud market leader. And without Sam on board we would probably have been there two years earlier, this would probably not have worked.

Sam is someone who loves to see the world; every year, he takes a whole month’s holiday to travel around Asia. We can well understand that, because when you work for a company like Bar Company, you need to get away from the hustle and bustle every now and then.

When the well-known luggage brand Samsonite rang up asking for an oxygen bar at a five-star resort in Marrakesh, Morocco, you can well imagine who was the first to say ‘I’ll take it’ and head off.

Sam is a true Nijmegen native (by his own admission). As such, he can be found in the stands at NEC every week and has eaten at every restaurant in Nijmegen at least once.
