Who are we?
Every year, Bar Company makes around 2,500 parties and events unforgettable with cocktails and coffee. Our team consists of around a hundred lucky people. After all, we only do fun things. In our world, every day really can be a party.
The name ‘Bar Company’ stands for much more than just a ‘bar business’.
It stands for barista’s and bartenders that ensure good company. Hence our slogan: Bar Company, In good company!
What are you going to do?
As a logistics assistant, you are a vital link At BC. You’ll make sure our bartenders and baristas on site have everything they need to give it their all. Flawless service is key: after all, in the events industry, there are no second chances. You’ll be working in our 1,000 m² warehouse in Nijmegen and liaising daily with the operations team and colleagues in the office.

No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing for DIY jobs: gathering and assembling materials based on packing lists
- Loading and unloading buses and lorries (quickly, tidily and in a logical order)
- Processing returns: checking, cleaning, restocking and preparing for resale
- Keeping the warehouse organised: overview, structure and stock management principles
- Contributing ideas to improve efficiency: smarter stacking, better routes, process improvements
- Occasionally providing telephone support to colleagues on site if something is missing or incorrect
- Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace
Career progression opportunities
Depending on your skills and ambitions, you can progress in your career and take on additional responsibilities, such as:
- Maintenance of coffee machines, furniture and bar concepts
- Purchasing and stock management
- Managing part-time logistics staff
- Drawing up bus and staff timetables

Who do you work with?
You will be working alongside:
- 3 colleagues in logistics
- +20 office staff
- And, of course, our 100 bartenders and baristas who set off from Nijmegen every day
We have lunch together with the whole team every day and often round off the week with a cosy Friday afternoon drinks 🍻
