Everything organised at your venue

Scaling up is where most providers fall by the wayside. Competitors can comfortably handle up to 50 participants; beyond that, it gets tricky. Bar Company scales up with you. For a team-building event with 80 people, we set up four workstations, each with its own bartender and its own supply of ingredients. For 200 people, we operate with eight stations and a central coordinator on the floor.

That scale isn’t just theoretical. With over 100 staff and 2,500 events a year, we know how to combine group logistics with a personalised touch for each team. That’s the assurance that HR managers and event agencies are looking for: even with large groups, it still feels like a workshop, not a public festival.

For the organiser, holding a workshop at their own premises is always easier than holding it off-site. No travel time, no logistics for the team, no additional venue hire. We bring the complete bar set-up with us: shakers, ingredients, glassware, ice, garnishes and all the materials needed for the competition. We set up beforehand and pack away afterwards. All you need to do is provide a suitable space.

An average office for a company of 30 staff has plenty of space. For larger groups, we visit the venue in advance and advise on the layout. That helps avoid disappointment on the day itself.

Practical planning and logistics

For most clients, planning begins two to four months before the desired date. For popular periods (December, June–July, the kick-off season in January), we recommend booking earlier. Once the quote has been confirmed, the organiser will be assigned a single point of contact at Bar Company. That person will coordinate the menu selection, the numbers, any adjustments and the final briefing for the bartenders.

Two weeks before the workshop, we will confirm the final programme, the times and the exact logistics. On the day itself, our bartenders will arrive on site 60 to 90 minutes before the start time. Afterwards, they will clear everything away, usually within 30 to 45 minutes. The venue will be left exactly as you found it: not a sticky bar, no forgotten boxes, no clutter.

For groups of more than 50 people, we send out a logistics checklist in advance. This covers parking, access to the venue, power supply and any arrangements involving catering or music. That might sound like a minor detail, but that is precisely where many team-building events fall flat: the details that nobody had thought through beforehand.
