Staff party with a variety of themes

Last Saturday, Etos held a staff party. It was such a big and brilliant party that it’s hard to summarise it here in just a few sentences. We’ll give it a go anyway.

Reason for the staff party

Etos is doing well. The company saw a 1% increase in turnover last year, and this was celebrated last Saturday. In addition, Etos organises the annual ‘Best Shop Competition’, the winner of which was announced on Saturday. The theme of the party was ‘Glamour and Gold’. Ninety coaches brought 4,000 female staff members (!) to Taets in Zaandam, where they enjoyed an evening they’ll never forget.

What was there to do?

Guests entered along the golden carpet, flanked on both sides by a host of paparazzi and stilt-walkers. Once inside, they were ushered by twenty male hosts into various large rooms, each of which had been stylishly furnished and decorated down to the smallest detail. As well as a wide variety of food and drink, guests were able to enjoy, amongst other things:;

Champagne towers, cocktail bars, baristas, smoothie bars and ice cream vans. The entertainment included, amongst other things, illusionists, oxygen bars, chair massage therapists, casino tables, beauty salons and green screens.

The evening was hosted by Humberto Tan and, alongside various artists, dancers, top bands and DJs, Gerard Joling stole the show with his closing performance.
