What home cocktail catering involves

You choose a venue, we’ll take care of the rest. Our bartenders shake every cocktail fresh on the spot, using our own homemade syrups. No pre-mixed bottles, no ready-made drinks from a carton.

It is the fully catered version of our cocktail catering: bar, service and drinks all in one. Would you prefer just the bare-bones bar and to pour your own drinks? Then take a look at home cocktail bar. The catering option includes the following as standard:

• Bar unit of your choice from around 40 styles, ranging from neutral and chic to industrial and rustic
• Professional bartenders who’ll be mixing drinks live all evening
• At least 7 cocktails and mocktails, tailored to your taste and changing with the seasons
• Glassware per cocktail, each drink served in its appropriate glass
• Ice cream, fresh toppings and all the ingredients
• Transport plus full set-up and dismantling on site

The menu features at least five popular cocktails and two non-alcoholic mocktails, so that guests who don’t drink can also enjoy a proper drink. These mocktails are original recipes, not simply cocktails with the alcohol removed.

The difference compared to making your own cocktails lies in the technique and the presentation. Our bartenders flambé a pineapple, garnish the glass with herbs, or serve a smoking cocktail via a smoke bubble that your guest pierces themselves. Wherever possible, we use plant-based ingredients, such as aquafaba instead of egg white for the foam topping. And we’ll add your logo or the birthday boy or girl’s name to the menu free of charge.

You’ve been looking forward to this party for months. The guests are arriving, the music’s on, and there you are, standing behind a makeshift bar all evening, mixing drinks, topping up the ice and rinsing glasses. By the time everyone’s had a drink, the moment has already passed and you’ve missed your own party.

That’s exactly what you don’t want. You’re throwing a party at home to celebrate, not to work. Cocktails instantly make an evening feel festive, precisely because they’re drinks that people don’t usually have at home. But good cocktails require skill, fresh ice, the right glass and a whole host of ingredients. Sorting all that out yourself will take the whole evening.

Our bartenders will take care of that for you. They’re party starters: their mission is to get the party going, not to show off as connoisseurs of 200 different drinks. How the mobile cocktail bar fits into your home

Space and structure

Would a bar like this actually fit in your home? In most cases, it’s easier than you might think. Here you can find out exactly what the bar requires and how much space you’ll need to set aside.

A cocktail bar measures 0.87 by 1.65 metres and fits through a standard doorway. Allow for approximately 2.5 metres in width by 2 metres in depth per bar, plus some workspace behind it. Are you hosting a larger party? The bars can be linked together to form a wider setup. Set-up takes less than an hour and is carried out entirely by us, as is the dismantling afterwards.

What you’ll need

Indoors or in the garden

Actually, just one thing: a standard 230V power point for the cooling system and lighting. A water connection isn’t necessary, as the bars have built-in water tanks and no drainage. If there’s no electricity at your venue – for example, at the back of the garden – we’ll bring a generator with us, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Whether indoors in the living room or outdoors on the terrace, either is fine. For a garden party, however, we always recommend a canopy or marquee, so that the quality and speed of service are guaranteed should the weather take a turn for the worse.

In terms of capacity, you can expect around 50 cocktails per hour per shaker and two to three cocktails per guest. One bartender can serve 50 to 75 guests without long queues forming. If you’d like to serve guests more quickly, we can provide an extra shaker or a second bar. We can also personalise the experience: a menu featuring the names of the birthday boy or girl or the bride and groom, a signature cocktail tailored to your taste, or custom ice cubes with your logo embedded in them. Are you hosting a mixed group with children, pregnant guests or a designated driver? Then you can put together a menu with non-alcoholic cocktails together, alongside the regular menu.
